The Price Change goes into effect on Sunday, January 24, 2021.

Mailings paying Current Prices

Completed mailings in this category must be verified and paid for before Sunday, January 24, 2021, in order to qualify for current prices. In addition, these mailings must be presented and accepted at USPS origin and destination entry postal facilities no later than Monday, February 8, 2021, when presented using eInduction® or eVS® processes or with appropriate verification and payment documentation (PS Form 8125 or PS Form 8017).

Mailings paying New Prices

Completed mailings verified and paid for on or after Sunday, January 24, 2021 must pay new prices. Entry at USPS origin and destination entry postal facilities are governed by presort labeling list restriction dates ‐‐ and must be presented using eInduction® or eVS® processes or with appropriate verification and payment documentation (PS Form 8125 or PS Form 8017).

As an option, completed mailings in this category may also be verified and paid for beginning January 11, 2021, using the new prices, provided that entry at origin and destination entry at postal facilities does NOT occur before January 24, 2021.

Hybrid Mailings

Mailings with manufacturing schedules that span before and after January 24, 2021 can be adjusted to allow payment using both current and new prices. This adjustment can be accomplished by subdividing the respective portions of the mailing’s Mail.Dat.

USPS Update – New Release

On January 10, 2021 the USPS will be implementing a PostalOne! release including the need for a new required Mail.Dat client. Please note that the January 24, 2021 price change also requires the migration of Mail.Dat to version 19.1 or higher. Mail.Dat version 18‐1 will only be supported after January 10, 2021 for updates only.
