Our Privacy Commitment
Your Privacy Matters to us. We are committed to transparency regarding how we collect, store, and process your personal data. We process your information for the following legal bases and legitimate interests.

This section explains:
- What data we collect about you
- How we collect your data
- Why we collect your data
- How we use your data
- If we share your data and who we share it with
For clarity, the links below address describe the topics outlined above regarding your data based on your relationship with RRD.
How we protect your data
Data Security We employ industry-standard technical and organisational measures to secure personal data—whether received from you or a third party—during transmission and storage.
Encryption & Monitoring We use encryption to maintain data privacy and prevent unauthorised alteration or loss. Our systems are monitored continuously to detect, prevent, and respond to unauthorised access attempts in accordance with legal requirements.
How we keep on top of privacy
We regularly audit our compliance with this Privacy Notice and applicable global regulations. Our legal, ethics, and privacy teams and committees actively monitor changes in data protection laws to ensure ongoing global compliance.
The laws that we follow
RRD adheres to all applicable privacy laws, specifically the EU GDPR (Regulation 2016/679) also known as the General Data Protection Regulation, as well as the UK GDPR regulation.
We also comply with local privacy regulations across Europe, as they pertain to our internal operations and staff.
Accessing and Updating Your Personal Data
Individual citizens of the European Union and United Kingdom (UK)– including clients, customers, suppliers, and employees – hold specific data protection rights. You can read more about these rights here and here.
Our dedicated privacy team and policies are in place to help you exercise these rights. These rights are:
- Be informed: we will use clear and plain language when communicating with you.
- Access: You have the right to request a copy of your personal data. We will also provide details regarding why we collect it, how long we store it, and any third parties with whom we share it.
- Rectification: You can have incorrect or incomplete personal data updated or corrected.
- Erasure: where applicable we will delete any data we hold about you.
- Portability: where applicable we will provide a copy of your personal data in a commonly used, machine readable format.
- Restrict processing or object: you can opt-out of any marketing communications from RRD. Every communication we send you should include details on how to opt-out of future messages.
- Restrict automated decision making and profiling: you have a right to request human intervention in significant decisions about you based solely on algorithms.
In addition to these rights listed, you also have the right to lodge a complaint with the UK Information Commissioner’s Office (www.ico.org.uk) if you are based in the United Kingdom.
To protect your privacy and safeguard with whom we share information about your data, we may ask for identity verification before processing any requests to access, update or delete your data.
It’s important to note that RRD frequently processes personal data for one of our clients; if that’s how we have your data, we can forward your request to them and help them respond.
Kindly note that certain legal exceptions may limit RRD’s ability to fulfill your data requests to exercise your rights —for example, if we are required by law to keep records for tax purposes or if we are not the data controller and we received your data from our client. Should an exception apply to your request, we will notify you and provide an explanation.
You may direct any request to the email accounts listed in the How can we help you? section below.
You also have the right to contact RRD in the How can we help you? section if you feel our collection or use of information is unfair, misleading or inappropriate.
You may also contact your data protection regulator, known as the Supervisory Authority.
To simplify how RRD works with the Supervisory Authorities across Europe, we will be using the Data Protection Commissioner in Ireland (https://www.dataprotection.ie) as our primary or lead authority for privacy at any company that is part of RRD Supply Chain Solutions.
You are always able to voice your concerns in your local language to your local European Supervisory Authority and we will work with them to resolve your issues.
We welcome feedback on the clarity of this Privacy Notice and any experiences you may have had related to the privacy of your personal data at RRD.
