CHALLENGE
To help reduce costs, a financial services client wanted to close an internal print facility, yet maintain capacity through a secure outsourced model with proper transparency, control, and technology.
SOLUTION
To integrate post-processing controls with the firm's legacy Metacode file, RRD used Powerstream, a proprietary software solution that facilitates a rapid, modularized approach to composition . Using cut-sheet imagers, RRD built a solution that organized and batched over 1,200 retirement plans for various organizations, streamlining production workflow.
RESULTS
On schedule, RRD helped the client deliver 550,000 quarterly statements successfully. The client also realized several additional benefits:
