The steady decline in forest stock is becoming increasingly worrying. For more responsible and sustainable global forest management, our company contributes to FSC, SFI, PEFC processes and standards certification.
RR Donnelley Hungary Ltd. has been certified since 2003 FSC® and is subject to regular on-site audits by the Forest Stewardship Council. Certification means that the papers we use come exclusively from suppliers who produce their products under controlled conditions, and thus contribute to the sustainability of our planet.
The FSC licensed timber has been cut off responsibly. The wood used was sorted one by one, and then a new tree was planted, following an environmentally conscious behavior. Forests remain healthy and strong with a fragment of pest and fungicide sprayers used in industrial forests. Each log goes through a chain of supervisors from the forest, through the processing site to the timber plant, ensuring authenticity.
The Pan European Forest Certification Scheme provides a framework for the development and mutual recognition of national forest certification programs that have been developed locally according to internationally accepted sustainable forest management requirements.
The Sustainable Forest Initiative is a responsible forest management certification system. The certification guarantees that our company adheres to the standards and regulations of the organization, and that the products we produce meet the conditions for environmentally responsible and socially responsible production and production. During the production of the raw material of our products, biological species richness and ecological balance are maintained in connection with logging and forest (re) installation, and the rights and interests of workers and the population are secured in the affected areas.
